Welcome to Ripplers Realism I found many weapon mods for gta 5 to be a little off if you feel the same way then this might be what you are looking for in this mod every single firearm and launcher has been tweaked as well as a few vehicles to feel more immersive and responsive and more reflect their real life counterparts. This has many unique features but here are some of them:
-grenade launcher rounds explode on impact instead of that stupid bounce
-higher rates of fire for all weapons, bolts and slides cycle much faster they no longer look like there in slow motion
-more realistic recoil guns feel very responsive
-realistic muzzle velocity,damage and range depending on caliber and barrel length requiring much more skill to hit targets especially moving ones ( this applies to npc's as well)
-added muzzle effects to weapons that didn't have them the barrel will smoke for a longer time after sustained fire
-increased range for weapon light and gave it a real UV color
-low velocity rounds will do far less damage to body armor then before
-optional files such as bullet penetration, heavy shotgun conversion and a few more.
And much more has been done hope you enjoy this mod I spent alot of time on it this mod will be expanded upon as time progresses and my knowledge grows of the games code much is planned so stay tuned !!!!!!! You can find all the installation details in the README file that comes with the download as of V1.8 the installation process is an absolute snap and is much less time consuming.
FULL CHANGELOG INCLUDED WITH THE DOWNLOAD BE SURE TO READ IT IF YOU WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING THAT'S BEEN DONE IT'S QUITE A LARGE LIST SO ITS WITH THE DOWNLOAD.
NOTE: There is currently an issue with completing the mission Nervous Ron the lights cannot be shot out in that mission because of the changes I made to the Sniper Rifle.My mod does not effect light shooting (in fact it increases the range it can be done) in the rest of the game its only a problem with this mission. Credit to Anach for discovering this.
